WEDDING UPDATE 2 - DIRECTIONS

Address is 1876 Mansion House Dr. Baltimore MD 21217 *** We suggest that your plan your trip so you arrive around 4:30, but I would plan for at least 15 minutes of navigation and parking delays. *** There is an event taking place in Druid Hill Park on Saturday from 12pm-8pm. I attached a map to show the routes you and your guests can take to avoid the majority of the traffic. !Swann Drive will be completely closed off from entering into Druid Hill Park. To get to Mansion House Drive: - Sisson Street to Wayman Drive (which turns into East Drive (Last Option) This way passes by the pool & tennis courts - Gwynns Falls Parkway (Best Option) This passes the Conservatory - Greenspring Avenue (Second Best Option) this will pass the Disc Golf Course If guests are taking I-83, they will get off at exit 9 and come down Coldspring Lane, then make a left onto Greenspring Avenue Once they are in the park itself, they can still get to Mansion House Drive and then follow the original directions we discussed, it will just be some congestion getting through the park itself. We will have a Zoo Security Guard at the bottom of Mansion House Drive to allow Wedding guests through. The rest of Mansion House Drive will not be accessible for anyone other than the Wedding.

*** This plan will change if there is projected rain on 6/13 *** Based on the number of responses, we have reserved a total of 60 tickets for guests to explore the Zoo before the wedding. The Zoo is open 10am to 4pm weekly. These tickets are a first come, first serve basis. If there are any extra tickets, guests have up to 31 days to utilize them. All you need to do is to say you are with the "Thaddeus Atkins and Sara Lucas Wedding" at the ticket counter. We highly recommend parking at the main entrance if you wish to explore early. The address at the main gate: 1 Safari Place Baltimore, MD 21217. For the wedding, the location for your ride share or parking will be at the Mansion House: 1876 Mansion House Dr, Baltimore, MD 21217, United States The GPS directions will take you through Druid Park and up Mansion House drive. Once you get up to the Mansion House, continue driving past. There will be guards and staff to along the way direct you. You will continue past the Mansion house, to the back side of the Penguin Enclosure Gate. Once you park, it should be no more than a 1-3 minute walk from Mansion House Drive to the back gate of the Penguin Enclosure. *** The back gate to the Penguin exhibit will open at 4:30pm for guests enter, and to explore the Penguin Enclosure privately. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm, lasting no more than 15 minutes. And there will be alcohol served until 5:45pm. We encourage you be there by 4:30pm so you can enjoy beer/wine and watch the penguins. *** Ceremony will last roughly from 5:00pm to 5:15pm After the Ceremony you are free to explore Penguin Coast until 6:00pm From 5:30 to 6:00 there will "Official" pictures with the bride and groom. These will be fast paced pictures. After 6:00pm, guests will directed to walk back up the Mansion House. From Penguin Coast Ceremony to the Mansion house it is roughly a 5-7 minute walk. 6:00pm - 7:00pm Appetizers 7:00pm - 8:00pm Buffet Dinner 8:00pm - 10:00pm Party

Mansion house will have AC. The ceremony is outside and will not have AC. The estimated time you will be outside without AC is ~1 hour. The wedding colors are Burgundy, Crimson Red and Blush Pink. You do not need to dress with the colors of the wedding.

Can I get access to the Zoo before the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, based on the number of responses We have reserved x40 tickets for people to explore the Zoo. These are a first-come first-serve basis, so we suggest you come early to secure your ticket. If all the tickets are utilized, you can still enter the Zoo but you will unfortunately need to pay for a day-pass. Luckly, if there are any excess tickets after June 13th, anyone will have a 31-day retention period to claim these before expiration. Zoo opens daily from 9-4. !!!! You Just need to go to the ticket counter and say you are here for the Sara and Thaddeus Wedding. !!!! AFTER 4 PM.... !!!!! You will need to go to the Mansion House for the ceremony/reception. Do not park at the main gate after 4pm !!!!! Where/when is the Ceremony?

Address: 1876 Mansion House Dr. Baltimore MD 21217 Back gates open at 4:30. You should plan on encountering traffic in the park, plan for at least 15 minutes in delay. Ceremony will take place at 5:00pm on the dot. It will last about 15 minutes. Reception at the Mansion House is from 6:00-10pm
