His Story: It was August 19th 2017, and Aaron was on his way to his state appearance for the Eau Claire Cavaliers Baseball Team. He had just met Kristin the night before. Unfortunately Aaron's team lost at state, and his weekend suddenly became wide open. He texted Kristin jokingly saying "Hey, we lost, now I can come see you." The thing was Aaron wasn't joking. He really wanted to see Kristin. Thankfully Kristin was very happy that his team had lost, because she wanted to see him also. That was when Aaron knew that she was the one. Her Story: It wasn’t long after Kristin and Aaron had met that she was taking him to all of her favorite spots that Minneapolis had to offer; including her favorite donut shop, and the local gym (balance). Over the next couple of months they would travel back and forth to one another from Minneapolis to Eau Claire. One morning as Kristin was preparing to head back to Minneapolis for work Aaron handed her a bag of snacks that he had hand made for the trip (a half eaten chocolate bar, banana, and peanut butter sandwich). He also handed her a set of keys to his apartment. She instantly knew that she had fallen in love (true statement).
The day was finally here. After months of anticipation Kristin and Aaron had just left the bank, and were finally on their way to their new home. As they pulled up the driveway they were quickly greeted by Aaron's mom (Tammy), oldest sister (Angeline), and niece (Josephine). They went through a tour of the house before Aaron suggested to Kristin that they should get a couple of pictures outside together to remember the day by. They headed out into the snow, and Kristin quickly jumped on Aaron's back. A few pictures went by before Aaron set her on the ground, spun her around, and said "let's take on more like this." When she turned around, and looked down, Aaron was on one knee asking “Kristin will you marry me?” Kristin was so shocked that she forgot to respond, causing Aaron to panic. Of course it was a yes!
Kristin and Aaron currently live in Eau Claire, WI in the same house where Aaron proposed. They happily share their home with their two owners; Bro (a yellow lab puppy), Tony (the fat orange cat), and their newest addition Caesar (a squishy face persian). When Kristin and Aaron are not spending time with their friends and family they are always staying busy. In their spare time you can find them renovating their 1970’s home, at the gym, eating breakfast at the local VFW, or working hard on building their dream business. “We would just like to take a moment to say that we are so overwhelmingly grateful for all of the family and friends that have been brought into our lives. We wouldn’t be here today without you. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!”
