It’s finally happening!

The story begins with God providing a way and ring. He has shaped Ty and Lexi the past 6 years to where they are now. In the past year God has been nudging Ty to finally ask the question. Ty finally asked on August 29th. With having their relationship long distance, Ty made the day as a “date day.” Lexi was none the wiser. They started the day with coffee and a devotional, which lead them to lunch. They then walked across the street and got Chinese food, which is the BEST! Since they love to watch movies, Ty found out that the local theater was playing the original Jurassic Park, so of course they went to see it. After the movie was the big surprise. Ty and Lexi went to an overlook that looked over a beautiful valley. Which is weird to find in Illinois. There Ty played the song “I Know What I Know” by the Monkees. In the interlude of the song, Ty told her what he knows and asked her to marry him. In less than a second she said yes, and put the ring on! They then had a wonderful dinner and spent time with family.
