Michael and I met on a small town Friday night in July. We were both at the local hang out Hayden's Bainbridge Tap enjoying our selves with separate groups of people. After socializing, my dad, Alan introduced the two of us. Immediately we hit it off and laughed and joked the rest of the evening. Michael accepted me, even with my terrible dart throwing skills. But, there was something about being close that just felt as if it were meant to be. Shortly after we began dating and then fell in love. In May of 2019, we went on vacation with Michael's family to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As the sun set on the pier, the waves were rippling softly and the warm salty air surrounding us made for a perfect day. But as I posed for a photo opportunity with Papaw Henderson, Michael, barefoot and perfectly sun kissed was waiting for me on one knee on the pier. We were surrounded by family and in that moment., I was more sure than I had ever been about anything in my life that I was going to marry the man of dreams. We can not wait to share the rest of our journey with you. Thank you for being a part of our day and allowing our lives to become one. Our story has just begun and I can't wait to see how the rest goes.
