Delaware Water Gap
The Delaware Water gap has amazing views; you can take hikes up the mountain or go rafting down the river. For anyone out of town looking to soak in some of the beauty that we grew up around, you may want to take a day trip out here and check it out! It's a little under an hour away from our venue.
Sparta Glen Park
If you don't want to make the trip out to the Water Gap, Sparta Glen Park is a close-by option to soak up some New Jersey nature.
Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub
If you are looking for a great lakeside restaurant that's close to the venue, check this place out! Lake Mohawk also has a lot of cute shops to explore.
Budd Lake Diner
If you want to know what a Jersey Diner is all about, check out our hometown diner that we spent many days and even more nights at. Grab some disco fries or a slice of amazing cheesecake from our favorite diner.
Bagel Shops
Okay, so anyone who wants to have the best breakfast sandwich in creation, a Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese on an Egg bagel with SPK is a must while you are in Jersey. If anyone who flies in for the wedding doesn't stop to get at least one of these during your stay, we will be extremely disappointed in your performance. It doesn't have to be a specific bagel shop, but feel free to ask about some of our favorite places. A jersey bagel and some great taylor ham will absolutely satisfy your hungry stomachs the morning after a night of drinking and dancing!
Cliff's Homemade Ice Cream
If you want to try out some of the best ice cream we have ever had, check out our favorite go-to. There is also Das Creamery in our hometown of Budd Lake that is a very close second!
New York
Of course, I need to recommend visiting New York City to any of our friends who are traveling from other parts of the country. NYC has so much to do and so much to see, from Times Square, to Liberty State Park. Let us know if you plan to take a trip out to the city and we would be more than happy to give you some awesome places you wouldn't want to miss!
