FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Suit jackets, dress pants, or cocktail dresses are welcome. Since this is an entirely outdoor wedding, we'd advise against heels and encourage bringing a jacket! Please wear what you're going to feel most comfortable in.

Question

What's the covid policy?

Answer

We request that all guests be vaccinated or show a negative test. We encourage social distancing since many of our guests are traveling and there will be elderly and immunocompromised folks attending.

Question

Can I bring my kid or a date?

Answer

We kindly ask if your invitation does not specify a plus one or child, that you do not bring anyone extra. This a small wedding and want to keep it special, calm, and intimate!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

While your presence is enough of a gift, if you're feeling particularly generous we are registered on Amazon. Click on the "registry" link above or search our names on Amazon.com to find the registry. We would also like to note that we would appreciate cash gifts to put towards home improvement projects and our honeymoon! Paypal: paypal.me/ApedaileWedding

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Parking will be on-site but is limited, so please carpool if possible! There will not be any shuttles to and from town to the wedding location, and Ubers won't be available that far out, so please plan accordingly!

Question

What is the weather like in Montana in early October?

Answer

Who knows! While we hope for a warm sunny fall day in the 60s, it could just as likely rain or snow with temperatures dropping below 40 in the evenings, so a jacket is highly recommended! (There will be heated and covered areas at the wedding, so no need to freak out!)

Question

How do you pronounce Savannah's future last name?

Answer

Apedaile (app-EH-dale)

Question

Should I bring cash for the bar?

Answer

No! Beer, wine, and seltzers will be available to anyone of legal age free of charge. Please drink responsibly. There will be plenty of other non-alcoholic options as well. You can bring some cash for the "dollar dance" if you'd like. :)

Question

Is there cell service at the venue?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Please do not take photos during the ceremony. We've hired a professional for a reason, and want to see all of your smiling faces and not your phones/iPads as Savannah walks down the aisle. After that, it's fair game! Snap as many photos as you want of the reception and beautiful scenery. Bonus points if you send them to us after the wedding!

Question

Can I pet George, the best dog?

Answer

Duh! Please don't feed him human food though, he has a sensitive tummy!

Question

Can you recommend some hikes in the general area?

Answer

We are thrilled that you want to enjoy some of our favorite outdoor spaces! In order of difficulty we recommend: Palisade Falls (paved trail), Drinking Horse, Ousel Falls (in Big Sky), Triple Tree, Storm Castle, and Pine Creek Lake. If you go to Yellowstone National Park, Savannah highly recommends the Fairy Falls hike which leads to a beautiful waterfall and cool overlook of Grand Prismatic.
