FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We warmly welcome children to our celebration! Family means everything to us, and we're looking forward to having little ones join in the festivities. While we'll provide kid-friendly activities, parents are responsible for supervising their own children during the event. If you prefer a child-free evening, we recommend arranging alternative childcare so you can fully enjoy the celebration.

Question

I'm an out of town guest. Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a special hotel block for out-of-town guests and will share the details and booking information in early 2026. Stay tuned for convenient accommodation options near our wedding venue.

Question

Do you have any recommendation on where to purchase Indian clothes?

Answer

We're delighted to help you find the perfect Indian attire for our wedding! We can assist you in ordering clothing before our wedding date, with shipping to Canada and easy pickup. If you’d like us to help with this, we’re happy help you find an outfit that matches your budget, style, and color preferences. While traditional Indian clothing isn't mandatory, we warmly welcome guests who want to participate. We’d be elated to style you if you trust us with the process! If you prefer to shop independently and don't have a local store, we recommend several approaches: • Poshmark is an excellent starting point. Search terms like "lehenga," "saree," "anarkali" for women, or "kurta" for men. Be sure to filter by size, price, and color, and don't hesitate to ask sellers detailed questions about measurements. • Consider renting through the Boomie app, which offers convenient attire rental services. Boomie has graciously given a 10% discount code that applies for our wedding events, so if you rent from Boomie, use AUDREYDANNY at checkout. • Online retailers like Lashkaraa, AZA Fashions, and House of Indya provide additional options. Just be aware of potential tariffs when ordering. • Amazon often has several styles available. Importantly, western attire is completely welcome too! We anticipate a beautiful mix of American and Indian styles, so wear what makes you most comfortable and confident.

Question

Question

We want to visit Toronto, what's the best way to do so?

Answer

You may drive but it may take up to 3 hours depending on how heavy traffic is. For a simpler commute we recommend taking the train. Aldershot Go in Burlington is the closest train station from Cambridge that will take you to Downtown Toronto (Union Station GO). Trains typically leave at XX:05 & XX:36 and take ~1h and 9min. You can purchase tickets at the station but they usually have group/day passes on their website that are cheaper. https://www.gotransit.com/en/partners-and-promotions/weekday-group-passes

Question

I'm not from Canada. Do I need a passport or travel visa to visit?

Answer

Yes, get your passport ready & ensure that it will still be valid for 6+ months after you leave to avoid being kept from your international flight! However, American citizens do not need a visa in advance in order to travel to Canada for less than 180 days. Just bring your passport and you're good to go! If you're a citizen of another country, please check the laws to see if you'll need to apply for a visa in advance.
