Our story began completely unexpectedly, at a time when I was still trying to find myself. I had just come back from Ukraine, I was only 18 years old, working hard and figuring out life one day at a time. One day, while doing food deliveries, we both happened to deliver to the very same building. I was about to walk away when he stopped me and asked the simple question that changed everything: “Can I have your number?” That same day, we went on our very first date. I still remember calling him afterward, panicking because I had just crashed my car and was so worried. Instead of running away from the chaos, he stayed. From the very beginning, being with him just felt easy, comforting, and right. What started as a random moment between two strangers quickly became something neither of us could imagine living without. From that day on, we never spent a single day apart without seeing each other. Somewhere between late-night conversations, laughter, and everyday moments, we became each other’s home. And now, here we are — getting ready to begin forever together.

I was so overwhelmed with happiness and love that the only thing I could say was “yes.” In that moment, the world felt perfect, and I knew I wanted to spend forever with him.
