We’re Tess and Will, and our story began long before either of us imagined it would lead to a lifetime together. We met in middle school, where we instantly became friends — the kind of friends who made each other laugh a little louder and smile a little brighter without realizing why. As the years went on, our friendship only grew stronger. By high school, it became clear that what we shared was something deeper, something neither of us wanted to ignore. We started dating in October of 2018, taking the first steps of what would become the most meaningful journey of our lives. Years later, on April 5th, 2025, Will asked Tess the easiest question she would ever answer. He brought her to the top of Thunderhill Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway — a place filled with beauty, peace, and the perfect view for the moment our future began. With the mountains stretching around us, he got down on one knee, and we started the next chapter of our story. Our love has grown and changed with us for a very long time, from two middle school kids to the couple we are today. We can’t wait to celebrate this day with the people who have been part of our journey — and to begin the rest of our lives together.
