Flight
BWI is by far the easiest and best option to come in! Roughly 20 minutes from downtown Baltimore, you have options to Uber/Lyft, catch a cab, take the light rail, or the MARC commuter train. There are plentiful rental car options.
Travel Note
While we have provided a handful of public transit and rideshare options below, we understand that Baltimore is often easier to navigate by car. For folks coming in from out of town, cars can be rented at BWI. Both hotels have daily rates (the Canopy is $55/night and the Courtyard by Marriott is $25/night). For those parking for the wedding, our venue does has several nearby lots and street parking zones that run at various prices. The best options are: ~ Thames Street Garage (1530 Thames St) which should run about $12-$15 (for a 12 hour reservation) and can be reserved at https://spothero.com/ ~ Caroline Street Garage (805 S Caroline St) which is a $15 flat rate
Travel Note
This is a great overview of what options are out there to get through Baltimore, from over the water, through Baltimore's bike routes, or on Bus. If you have specific questions on getting from one point to another, please reach out to Tess & Taj and we will happily help you get where you're going.
Train
For those coming from DC, there are several train options, including the MARC, the NE Regional, and several others passing through Baltimore's main train station (Pennsylvania Station). For the MARC train, either the Penn Line or the Camden Line will bring you up to Baltimore. MARC PENN LINE: From either Union Station (DC) or BWI, The Penn Line will bring you directly to Pennsylvania Station in the Mid Town neigbordhood. From there you will have to Uber/Lyft (10 minutes), Taxi (10 minutes), bicylce (20 minutes), or walk (1 hour) to Fells Point/ Harbor East. MARC CAMDEN LINE: From Union Station, the Camden Line will bring you to the famous home of the Baltimore Orioles, Camden Yards! Uber/Lyft will be your best options (10 minutes), but it is a really lovely walk around Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Harbor East Neighborhoods (40 minutes) if you find yourself in need of a stroll!
Train
The light rail runs from BWI up to either Camden Station or the Baltimore Convention Center (closest stop to the hotels). From there you can take a ~10 minute Uber/Lyfte/Taxi to the hotels or take a 30 minute walk around Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
