FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tess Lebowitz and Merritt Boardman
Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Formal/upscale cocktail: Men: suit + tie, no tux required Women: stylish seasonal dresses (long, midi, or knee-length) or a chic jumpsuit for a cozy winter wedding - think more jewel tones or earthy tones rather than pastels and floral prints. We want you to wear what you're comfortable in, but don't be afraid to get a little glam if that's your vibe :) The entire wedding (aside from some outdoor family photos) will be held indoors.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

You are welcome to bring your children to wherever you stay during our wedding weekend if desired, but as much as we love all of your kiddos, we are kindly requesting that you arrange childcare coverage for them during the wedding on Saturday so that you can enjoy yourselves fully during our celebration :)

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please refer to the "Travel" page above. All information can be found there. Guests are also welcome to book any outside accommodations - such as local Airbnbs, etc. - on their own, but are responsible for all of their own transportation to and from the Inn for our wedding.

Question

Is there a welcome party or rehearsal dinner on Friday 1/30?

Answer

No, we will not be having a welcome event for guests. We are planning to have a family-only intimate dinner on Friday off-site and then will plan to meet up with any of our guests who are staying at the Inn (or elsewhere) on Friday for post-dinner casual drinks, etc. (location TBD - this is optional, not required), but there won't be anything formally organized. As such, if you are traveling in and staying anywhere else other than the Woodstock Inn (which - as a reminder - has a 2-night minimum), you are welcome to arrive on Saturday and just stay one night if that suits your party's needs.

Question

Will there be transportation provided for guests staying at locations other than the Inn?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not providing transportation to/from any off-site locations, and guests will be responsible for their own transportation to and from their lodging arrangements if they are staying anywhere other than the Inn. Please make prior arrangements accordingly and travel responsibly!

Question

Are there places to eat at the Inn?

Answer

Yes! The Woodstock Inn & Resort offers multiple onsite dining options: * The Red Rooster: The Red Rooster is a AAA Four Diamond-rated dining experience featuring local purveyors and homemade delights – like specialty cheeses, heirloom produce, and organic meats – served up in a casual, relaxed atmosphere with adjoining bar. * Richardson’s Tavern: Contemporary dining experience with a redesigned interior is centered around seasonality, craftsmanship, and locally sourced ingredients. * Perley's Pourhouse: Winter weather was meant for the hearty soups, savory sandwiches, and fresh, colorful salads accompanied with local beers or warm cocktails at Perley's Pourhouse, located slopeside at Saskadena Six Ski Area.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You will also be able to let us know a few other things when you RSVP, such as any dietary restrictions, where you plan to stay, when you plan on arriving, and any other notes you'd like to leave us :)
