Is there a dress code?

We kindly ask our guests to follow a semi-formal attire. For the ladies, we suggest wearing midi to floor-length dresses, and for the gentlemen, suits are preferred.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults-only. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, enjoy the party, and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

We’re keeping the celebration intimate, so invitations are just for the guests listed on your invitation.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A bus transportation will be provided to/from the Aloft Newport on the Levee hotel to the Monastery. Details to come on what time it will be departing.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample *FREE* parking provided at the Monastery. A parking attendant will be stationed at the corner of Pavilion Street and St. Paul Place to guide you into the venue’s private parking areas. Simply follow the signs and the attendant’s directions to access the on-site lot and garage.

Will the wedding be outdoors or Indoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. However, the cocktail hour will take place outside in the Courtyard.

Will dancing be Mandatory?

Answer

Yes! Dancing will in fact be mandatory and if you are not dancing, you will be politely (or aggressively) escorted out by Kyra Bevenour.
