In the Nahuatl tradition of Central Mexico, this day is known as 3 Monkey (Ozomahtli). Monkey is associated with beauty, artistry, humor, and playfulness. It is linked to Xochipilli, the Flower Prince, who embodies sacred creativity and joyful expression.
This is considered an auspicious day to begin a journey and to host a celebration, which makes it a meaningful moment to commence our union. To us, it carries the feeling of generative expression, harmonious relationship, and the beginning of something beautiful.
