How should I get to and from the venue?

Answer

If you plan on party party partying: plan on taking a Lyft/Uber to the venue and then plan on joining us on one of our TWO PARTY BUSSES that will take you back to the East Austin Hotel at 11pm If you plan on being sober enough to drive home: go ahead and drive! There’s a huge open parking lot on sight and it’s only 15/20 min from downtown. If you plan on leaving before 11pm: either a personal car or a Lyft will be the best way to get to and from the venue.

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 530pm. Please arrive closer to 5pm for some pre ceremony refreshments inside an the air conditioned room overlooking a wildflower field.

Can I arrive early to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We have an air conditioned room overlooking a wildflower field for you to enjoy as you wait for the ceremony. Come in as early as 430 for free admission and hang out before the wedding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Let’s get fancy! Cocktail attire encouraged. That being said, June in Austin can be pretty warm. You can almost certainly ditch the jacket. Ex: cocktail dress, fancy garden party vibe dress, button down with a tie, short sleeve button down with a bow tie, etc.

Anything specific I should pack?

Answer

Aside from regular wedding/hang/travel clothes, definitely bring a bathing suit! There’s a pool at the hotel and there are a ton of free watering holes to swim in to beat the Texas heat.
