We first met online, through mutual friends, and a chance to meet in person arose when Tess overcommitted to seeing a friend before moving back to Utah. Flash forward to the middle of the night, sitting in Coreys parents driveway as a car full of friends try to wake Corey up for a quick road trip that ended up as an all nighter, right before a move. The two enjoyed each others company at friend gatherings until Tess got the courage to ask Corey out on a call, before immediately hanging up before they could hear his answer. Their first date (05/29/2021) took place on a memorial day weekend trip with friends, as the two wandered the aquarium and explored what a relationship together might look like. They shared their first kiss in that same aquarium. As the years went on, Corey moved down to Utah to live with Tess, and as their relationship progressed, the couple once again found themselves at the aquarium, where Corey would get down on one knee and ask Tess if they would marry him (02/10/2024). After a tearful Yes, and the perfect Ring, the couple finds themselves ready for the next step, the actual Wedding!
