We met in 2013 when moving into our apartments for Physical Therapy School in Arizona. We were the only classmates moved in so early, so we ended up spending a lot of time together, hanging out and exploring the area. Throughout the 3 years of school, we both realized that we could spend endless hours together and never be tired of one another. Three years and a boards exam later, I made the move to Seattle and the rest is history.

Every year for our birthdays (James and I were both born on February 2nd, 2 years apart) we go on a weekend getaway. This year, we went to Lake Quinalt, a cozy lodge on the Olympic Peninsula with rich history. After spending the day exploring a quaint beach town nearby, he surprised me back at the lodge and asked me to marry him.
