Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm so we ask guests to arrive no earlier than 4:15 but no later than 4:45. Please note this is "hill Country" the roads from surrounding areas can be very rural, steep, and winding at times, please allow yourself extra time to arrive safely to our wedding. Guests who have not arrived by the start of our ceremony will not be permitted to enter the venue until after the conclusion of the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding of ensuring we have or special moment, uninterrupted.
Unless explicitly stated on your invite, we ask that you do not bring any additional guests. We appreciate your understanding and are excited to celebrate with you!
As much as we LOVE your little ones, with the exception of our flower girls and ring bearer, our wedding will be child-free. Enjoy the night off!
Formal BLACK attire is requested, we kindly ask our guests to refrain from wearing casual clothes such as jeans or t-shirts.
Our ceremony will be unplugged to ensure our photographers are able to do their best work in capturing our big day. We kindly ask you to respect our wishes and keep personal cameras and cell phones tucked away until cocktail hour. We also ask that you refrain from posting any photos of the bride and groom on social media until we have made our first announcement as husband and wife.
Please visit the "travel" tab on the main page of our wedding website. We have listed several hotels and rental properties available in Apple Canyon as well as nearby Galena, IL. We highly encourage you to book early as this area is an extremely popular fall vacation destination.
Drinks are on us, the hangover is on you! (Bartenders are not permitted to serve shots, please don't ask.)
The first row of seats at our ceremony will be reserved for immediate family but all others are open seating. There will not be designated seating at our reception aside from a few family tables, sit where you feel most comfortable.
Dj and Bartender will be breaking down around 11pm. We ask that you exit the venue by midnight, you don't have to go home but you can't stay here!
We are so excited to have you join our special day and your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for. However, if you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, a contribution towards our future dream home would help get our newlywed life off to a great start. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
