Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones but we want our wedding to be your night off! Since you may want to bring your children for the long weekend, we are happy to help book babysitters so that you can enjoy a date night out sans children! There will be 12 children present who are family members and in the wedding party.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. We'll be looking our best and would love if you did too! For the ladies: please note the ceremony is outside so heels may be challenging. The reception is indoors however.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the party?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles to and from both hotels and cabins - and running consecutively. We got your back! And we want you to be wise so we kindly request that you do *not* drink and drive.

Is everyone invited to the Welcome Party and Bagels on the Beach?

Answer

Yes, we want to see our loved ones as much as we can during the long holiday weekend!

Is there parking at the cabins?

Answer

Yes, there will be ample space for parking.

Is there an after party?

Answer

We are working on this - TBD for now. Will keep you posted. If it happens however, it will be BYOB and most likely unofficial.

What about transportation to the welcome party?

Answer

Although we will not have shuttles for the welcome party, there will be parking by the Pavillon. We encourage carpooling (with DD), ubering or walking from your cabin since we will be serving alcohol. We strongly discourage drinking and driving. Note: The Welcome Party is on the East Side of the Lake so if you are staying on the West Side of the Lake, you will need transportation.

Does the couple have a wedding registry?

Answer

Since we have already combined our apartments and will continue to live in our humble Brooklyn apartment, we do not have a registry and kindly ask for no boxed gifts please. If you would prefer to give us something, we appreciate any support as we are saving up for house together in the future. Thank you!

What about bathrooms at the Welcome Party?

Answer

We will have luxury trailors for restrooms on site at the Welcome Party.

Where is the closest grocery store & liquor store so I can stock my cabin fridge and pantry?

Answer

Weis Markets is a 10 min drive. Giant Food Stores is a 15 min drive. Fine Wine & Good Spirits is 9 min away. All of this info will be included in your welcome gift bag!

Can I bring my canoe or kayak for the lake?

Answer

Yes, guests are strongly encouraged to bring kayaks, canoes, and float devices of any sort! The only rule is no motor boats on the lake. Please note that each cabin comes with a row boat for the guests to make their way around the beautiful lake.

I am staying in the cabins and the lake is bigger than I thought! Where can I find out who is staying in which cabin?

I am staying at a Hotel. What time is check in and check out?

Answer

For both hotels: check in is 3PM and check out is 11AM.

I am in the Wedding Party, when and where is the Rehearsal?

Answer

The rehearsal is at the lodge at 12pm on Friday August 31, 2018. Please reach directly to Tessa with specific questions.

I am staying in the Cabins. What time is check in and check out?

Answer

Check in is at 4PM and Check Out for Monday has been extended free of charge until 4PM. This means if our guests want to stick around and have one final day on the lake, they can! Early check ins are available upon request for additional fee.

I am staying the hotel. Is there free breakfast?

Answer

Yes, both hotels serve a complimentary breakfast.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
