We're getting married!

We quite literally smashed into each other playing beach volleyball in early summer 2018. Nick knocked me to the ground while we were both going for the same ball. A year later, we found ourselves both working downtown Detroit and Nick asked me to lunch. It was super awkward... and for some reason we decided we still wanted to go on a second date. It went much better. We've been on quite the roller coaster of falling in love ever since.

We went out to a nice outdoor dinner in Detroit. After dinner we walked around admiring all the Christmas lights downtown. We walked through the alleyway behind the Shinola hotel and that's where Nick proposed! After the proposal we had an engagement party back home with a few close friends to celebrate!
