A world-renowned outdoor sculpture museum with gorgeous views. Tess used to work at Storm King, and highly recommends walking around the South Fields section for some of her favorite sculptures and mountain views.
Matt and Tess lived for two years in Cornwall, and Jones Farm is a highlight of their time in the area. There's a cute gift shop, sandwiches and soups, and their apple cider donuts are consistently ranked as some of the best in the Hudson Valley.
Tess and Matt still love to visit the town of Warwick. It has a charming downtown with great restaurants (check out Eddie's Roadhouse) and cute shops. You'll find seasonal apple picking at Ochs Orchard and Pennings Orchard, and you must stop at Bellvale Farms Creamery for delicious local ice cream (Trip Advisor ranks Bellvale among the Top 10% ice cream parlors in the world!). For drinks, checkout Pennings for local cider and beer, and Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery & Orchard for local wine, cider, and spirits.
For those of you staying in the area for a longer period, make the drive to New Paltz, NY, the start of Tess and Matt's love story where they met during college at SUNY New Paltz. Walk along the River-to-Ridge trail and Rail Trail, or hike at Minnewaska State Park. Explore the wide range of cuisines and get drinks at one of the bars along Main Street.
