What can I bring to the wedding?

Answer

Bring your coolers and anything you want to drink! Our venue does not require vendors for alcoholic beverages so BYOB! A limited selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will be provided, but please bring your own as well.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see you dressed in your best garden party semi-formalwear! Think of it as a blend of elegance and comfort. This includes bright summertime colors, floral prints, and flowy, breathable fabrics. Our ceremony will take place outdoors so please plan footwear accordingly. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white or cream colors, jeans, or T-shirts.

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

Answer

Our venue does have a capacity limit. The number of guests included on our invite will be specifically denoted when you RSVP on our wedding website. We will be unable to accommodate extra guests that were not listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding! Please contact Kole or Tessa if you have additional questions regarding extra guests.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP "will attend" or "will not attend" by May 1st, 2025. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume you will be unable to attend and will not include you in our final guest count.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:00PM. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to allow time to park, briefly socialize, and find a comfortable seat to celebrate our marriage!

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

Parking will be directed by our venue owners when you arrive. Our venue is located on private property, so there will be limited space for parking. We suggest carpooling if you are able.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Due to all the amazing lodging options the Black Hills offers, we have opted out of reserving hotel blocks. This will allow each of our guests to stay where they feel most comfortable! Our venue is located in Whitewood, SD so hotels/Airbnbs in Spearfish, Sturgis, or Deadwood will be the closest areas to stay. Please visit our travel page if you need suggestions on hotels.
