Our Story Our story all started with a dating app—something neither of us expected much from. Encouraged by friends and mostly just doing it “for fun,” we matched and spent a few months exchanging small talk here and there. One night, Tessa mentioned her favorite band, LANY. Ben had never heard of them, but promised to check them out. A few days later, Tessa received a message from Ben saying he had been listening to them nonstop and loved them. That simple message sparked something special and instantly caught Tessa’s attention. A couple of months later, COVID-19 lockdowns began, and suddenly we both had a lot more time at home. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into long nights filled with talking, laughing, and slowly falling in love. Eventually, we decided it was time for our first official date. Ben planned a day trip to Rock Bridge Memorial State Park in Columbia, where we enjoyed fresh air, nature, and all the nervous, awkward, yet exciting moments that come with getting to know someone new. We planned to head home afterward—but instead spent hours sitting in the parking lot, talking about anything and everything. From that day on, we slowly became inseparable. We love traveling together, are both passionate about our work, and spend our days being kept busy by our two fur babies. Now, we’re ready to take the next step and are so excited to celebrate with you. Welcome to our wedding! ❤️
