Olivia and Tessa first met back in 2011 when Olivia was in Tessa's mom's second grade class, and from that moment on, their friendship quietly began to grow. Over the years, they've shared so many chapters of life—laughing through early school days, and later leading the CHS band side by side as president and vice president. They even spent two unforgettable summers working together at Kernel Kullman, making sweet memories and even sweeter popcorn. Even as life took them to different places for college, they've held on to the kind of friendship that time and distance can’t shake.
Bailey Gray

Avery met Bailey while in the CHS marching band together, where they both played trombone. Their companionship quickly grew from being bandmates to being best friends. Through jazz duets, late night video games, and random lunch dates their friendship has stayed consistent. Avery's first time playing golf was with Bailey (in the pouring rain,) sparking his love for the sport. Before they grew out of the long-hair phase, Bailey and Avery would regularly get mistaken for brothers, sometimes even twins. Though not related through blood, Bailey will always be like a brother to Avery.

Emily is one of the greatest gifts UAH gave Tessa. The pair were brought together through a multicultural studies class when they both needed a partner for a project. Emily's warmth, kindness, and infectious sense of humor made her someone you just want to be around. She's not only a thoughtful and dedicated teacher, but also the kind of friend who makes even the most ordinary moments feel special. Whether they're sipping on 7 Brew, treasure hunting at TJ Maxx, or soaking up the sun when the UVs are high, Emily brings joy, laughter, and the best kind of energy to every memory they share.
Conner Burnham

Conner and Avery's friendship started when Avery was a freshman at CHS. They grew close through shared interests and extracurriculars, such as math team, marching band, and DND. Sharing many Saturdays at math team tournaments, late nights playing Destiny, and hanging out before and after practice and games each week, Conner became a lifelong friend. Conner was there for many of Avery and Tessa's early dating moments, even unknowingly delaying Avery asking Tessa out the first time.

Halla and Tessa’s paths first crossed at UAH, where they shared several classes over the years. But it wasn’t until their internship placements aligned in 2024 that their friendship truly began to blossom. Spending that semester side by side, they quickly discovered a deep connection filled with laughter, support, and countless shared moments. Even after Halla moved far away, their bond has remained strong through random texts and phonecalls to share the good and bad.
Corbin Crider

Avery and Corbin first met at a mutual friend's house when they had to sleep on a shared ottoman. Since then, they have shared many memories and adventures, such as working at Funzone, late-night video game sessions, DND campaigns, and more. When Avery moved out for the first time to attend UAH, he found stability in playing games like Destiny and Rocket League with Corbin each night. Since then, they have been top competitors in their friend group's gaming tournament each year and continue to game online when work and life schedules align.
Kenzie Lynn

Kenzie came into Tessa's life in adulthood, introduced through Avery's friend Braxton. From the very start, it felt like they'd known each other forever. The kind of instant connection that doesn’t need time to grow because it already feels rooted. Kenzie is warm, genuine, and effortlessly easy to be around. One of those rare friends who arrives unexpectedly but stays for good.

Avery and Braxton's friendship started when they both worked at Firehouse Subs in 2019. When Avery left to attend school at UAH, they drifted apart, but back together when Avery began working at the Walmart Distribution center in Cullman. Working on Module 9 together led to many fun times and memories. Now, Braxton and Kenzie are cherished friends of Tessa and Avery and go on many double dates together-such as fishing and golf.

Audrey is the little sister Tessa never had but always wanted. They have a shared love for Taylor Swift, animals, and all things pink. Having known her since she was a toddler, she’s watched her grow with pride into a fierce, strong, and confident young woman.
Carter Tankersly

Avery met Carter at 8 years old when he came into the world. Through their shared experience growing up, they have always remained close. Through their lives they have always been competitive in sports and video games. If they are not playing backyard football, soccer, or basketball then they are inside playing the video game version. No matter how tall Carter gets, he will always be Avery's little brother.
