Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/Black Tie Optional We kindly ask that you wear a formal suit, floor-length gown, or dressy pantsuit. Guests are encouraged (but not required) to dress in the colors of the wedding palette - coral, pink, peach, or navy. Please avoid wearing white dresses out of respect for the bride.

Is it outside or inside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the wedding will be both outside and inside.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if your date's name comes up when you go to RSVP. We have added +1s for our married and engaged guests. Otherwise, we ask that just you come.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We kindly ask that you find childcare for your children. This will be an adults-only event.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is parking at the venue. When you come up the road to the venue, there is a parking area on the left. We want all our guests to get back safely from the wedding, so if you find you are unable to drive after the reception you can leave your car at the venue. However, all vehicles must be picked up no later than 10am Monday morning or else they will be towed.

Is there smoking allowed?

Answer

Ivy Rose Barn is a smoke-free facility. If you wish to smoke or vape please do so in the designated smoking area.

Is the venue accessible for persons with disabilities?

Answer

Yes. The venue is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, the path going from the parking lot to the venue is rocky. If you require assistance to get to the ceremony space, please let us know in advance. We can arrange for a shuttle to take any persons with disabilities from the parking area to the ceremony space.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We kindly ask that you let our photographers capture the ceremony and put away all your electronic devices until cocktail hour begins.
