How far is the hotel from the airport?

Answer

The Element at Skysong is approximately a ten minute taxi from the airport. Approximate cost is $15.

Should we rent a vehicle?

Answer

Up to you! We have tried our best to cut unnecessary costs by having the venue and hotel within close proximity to the airport and tourist attractions.

What will the weather be like in February?

Answer

We expect to have beautiful weather! Forecasts predict a high of 75 °F and low of 50°F. During the day it will be sunny and warm, expect cooler temperatures at night.

Is everyone invited to the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! We want to spend as much time with all our friends and family as possible. We encourage everyone to arrive on Friday to kick off the weekend!

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

We suggest a dressy casual attire.

What time should we arrive to the Desert Botanical Garden for the wedding?

Answer

The Webster Center is located inside the Desert Botanical Garden. It is about a 15 minute walk from the entrance. All guests are welcome to arrive as early as they would like to walk around The Garden and view the grounds. Our ceremony will promptly start at 5:00pm, so please arrive no later than 4:30pm to allow time to walk to the venue. All guests will be able to visit the Desert Botanical Garden over the weekend of February 17 - 20, 2023 free of charge by mentioning the Saturday/Pollard wedding or bringing the wedding invitation.

Are there other accommodation options?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to book at alternative hotels or AirBnbs. We do encourage everyone to stay near the venue in the South Scottsdale/North Tempe area.

Is there any place you don't recommend staying?

Answer

Phoenix is a large city. We recommend you stay within a five mile radius of the Desert Botanical Gardens. There are many hotel options available, but some you should be wary of. Please make sure to read hotel reviews ahead of time. For your comfort, we advise not to book at the following places on Scottsdale Road: Motel 6 & Hotel Bixby.
