Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have posted several hotels under the travel tab that are close to the venue and have received good reviews. There are also many beautiful Airbnbs/VRBOs/Bed & Breakfasts in the area, so check those out as well! The hosts of our wedding venue have two additional airbnbs that are close to the venue (Harpers Ferry House ~ sleeps 10 and Chalet at Harpers Ferry ~ sleeps 8) for any larger groups.

What is the nearest airport to the venue?

Answer

Several airports are similar distances from the venue: 1. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is about 50 minutes from the venue. 2. Ronald Reagan International Airport (DCA) is about 1.5 hours from the venue. 3. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is about 1 hour and 10 minutes from the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is plenty of onsite parking.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 3:00 pm-3:20 pm to allow yourself time to park and get seated.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party/ Cocktail Casual is the vibe, but we want you to wear whatever you feel best and most comfortable in! Also, keep in mind this is a backyard wedding, mostly outdoors on grass, so make sure whatever you wear lets you enjoy yard games and dancing!
