Our reception venue is a historical site (formerly owned by George Washington!), and they have a very strict no smoking policy. We kindly ask that you please refrain from smoking, vaping, etc., anywhere on the property during the reception. If people smoke, they will shut down our reception. Thank you for understanding!
We recommend using Uber/Lyft for the wedding weekend. There is limited parking at the church, and cars cannot be left over night at the reception venue.
The dress code for the ceremony & reception is formal. We ask that men wear suits, and women wear an evening gown or a mid-length dress. Ladies, to help inform your shoe selection, please note that the cocktail hour will be on grass! *If you're worried about sore feet - don't be! There will be flip flops provided so you can dance the night away!
To keep our celebration intimate, we've limited the guest list to those who know us best. As such, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones. The names of all invited guests are listed on your invitation, and we kindly ask that only those named attend.
While we'd love to include everyone, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We hope you understand, and we sincerely hope you'll still be able to join us in celebrating our special day!
