Ryan and Caleb met at church youth group as 7th graders, and the rest was history. The next thing we know, Ryan was a staple around the Woodson house, and he and Tess became friends by association.

Fast forward to summer 2020: thanks to some well-timed interference from a mutual friend, Ryan asks Tess out a week before returning to the University of Portland for his senior year...

Summer 2010

How It Started

Tess' mom only wanted one thing for Christmas - to have all her chicks back at the nest! So her dad made it happen.

The only thing Tess wanted for Christmas was a ring on her finger... and with her whole family around to see it. So Ryan made it happen! He proposed on New Year's Day while the family was on a late afternoon stroll around the city.
