The Maryland Science Center is an interactive science museum that specializes in human-powered exhibits and programs for children, families, science enthusiasts, and educators who value the freedom to explore. We strive to make science accessible, fun, and memorable for everyone. Admission to the Maryland Science Center includes three floors of interactive exhibit halls, the star-studded planetarium, and our science demo stage. IMAX showings can be purchased for an additional cost.

The valiant defense of the fort during the Battle of Baltimore on September 13-14, 1814 inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words that became the U.S. national anthem. The fort's history holds many other stories too, from the Civil War to WWII.
