Season 1 starts off with them meeting in the dormitory Banneker lobby. Teryon saw her with 2 of her friends and came over because one of them had a guitar. Soon after they all had a study session together; Teryon helped her with her math homework, Amaya showed him a new dance, and just like that the hearts were talking. From that point they clicked so naturally and became super close. They told each other everything and from afar you would’ve thought they were dating. Fast forward and the long awaited season 2 kicks of with them finally getting together. It was a new step for the both of them as they never dated anyone while trying to follow Christ. They found numerous ways to love each other purely and leave room for Jesus. One of the biggest things they realized was that they grew the closest to each other when they were growing in God. Season 3 was the hardest time of the relationship for the two. During that time they faced many struggles together and needed much more help from the community around them to make it through them. During this time they knew they wanted to be together forever but the demands of college put a hold on their dream. They still had much to learn about how to love each other in the right ways but in the process took some hard falls that still marks them to this day. As rough as this time was for them, they never broke up and fought through it together with God. Season 4 starts off victorious for the two not only because they made it out of the struggles but because they were able to learn so much from it. As they went deeper with seeking God together they finally were able to love each other more and more in the way that God meant for it to be. They both were expecting an extra year in college but God made a way and helped them to be on track to graduate at the same time! Finally Teryon popped the big question and she said yes! And now they await for their journey to begin..as one!
