What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and so will the dancing, jackets might be needed. But under those jackets, please come dressed to impress. The historic venue is the perfect place to dress up a bit and take pictures. FYI...no one will be wearing tuxedos, but also no one should come in jeans.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

There is a strict 75 person limit. So unless you have verified with the couple that there is room, please no plus ones.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We ask that the only children that are present are the nieces and nephews of the couple as space is limited. 75 guests max.

What does a mingling dinner reception mean?

Answer

Dinner will be served as a casual buffet inside and you are invited to sit and mingle throughout the house. Sitting on furniture and mingling is encouraged. ***** There will be a few tables and chairs on the veranda for those who may prefer them.

What can you expect from the venue?

Answer

The entire estate is ours for the evening. All of the gardens and rooms upstairs and downstairs are accessible to the guests. (except for the kitchen as that will be for the caterers) There will also be lounge areas in the gardens.

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will be having a gourmet buffet catered by Spaggi`s in Upland. Among the buffet choices, the highlight is an amazing pot roast on a bed of tortallini. There will also be vegetarian options such as spinach ravioli that will surely please everyone's tastebuds.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

In addition to the parking lot provided, there is legal parking in front of the venue for one block (on the west side of Archibald Avenue between 6th Street and Deerbrook Avenue). Please do not park outside of the posted signs.
