Maid of Honor
Heather has been by my side for nearly my entire life — first as the little sister who followed me everywhere, and now as one of the people I cherish most. Her kind honesty and easy laughter make every moment with her lighter and more grounded. She’s always up for a spontaneous shopping, beach or ice cream trip, no matter the hour, and her presence has become one of the greatest constants in my life. I’m so grateful to have her standing with us on our big day.
Best Man
Shane and I met in college at App State and, from day one, he's been my go-to adventure buddy. Always down for a new experience, Shane has a way of turning any plan into a story worth telling. He's endlessly enthusiastic and genuinely loves sharing his passions and joys with the people around him. Whether we're chasing a new adventure or having a meaningful life conversation, Shane brings great energy, positivity and loyalty to everything he does. I couldn't be happier to have him standing by my side on such an important day.
Bridesmaid
Kaylyn has been the spark behind so many of my favorite memories, and the reason one of the greatest moments of my life ever happened. She’s the friend who can turn any plan into a fun time, and the one who insisted I give Terry a chance—dragging me to Lola's after we met at Beach Music. From the very beginning, she has believed in both me and our relationship with her whole heart. I’m endlessly grateful to have her joy, loyalty, and encouragement by my side as we celebrate this next chapter.
Groomsman
My family moved to Chase's neighborhood in 2004. From the very beginning, we were inseparable - growing up together, causing havoc (particularly by setting large fires), and regularly testing our parents' patience. Some things never change. Though we have lived in different places over the years, we always made a point to visit each other, picking up right where we left off, no matter how much time had passed. Chase has been a constant through every stage of life and I'm incredibly grateful to have him standing beside me, as I did for him just over a year ago.
Bridesmaid
Micayla is friend to all, stranger to none. She’s my most spontaneous partner‑in‑crime—the one who never turns down a last‑minute trip or a new bit, and who somehow always knows when it’s time to switch from silly to serious. She’s endlessly easy to talk to and nearly impossible to be unhappy around, even on my worst days. I can’t wait for her to bring her boundless joy, kind heart, and chaotic energy into our wedding day.
Groomsman
Andrew is my Carolina Hurricanes informant and favorite one-man-band. He's my go-to good time brother, always ready to make a concoction at the bar and to encourage me to make bad decisions. I've known Andrew since childhood through Chase, but we really connected and became especially close when he showed up for me in a big way during a difficult time. I'm endlessly grateful for his support and companionship. I'm ecstatic to have my sipping-bourbon-by-a-fire buddy by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Kyra is one of those friends you can always count on to show up, even while navigating first-time motherhood. Whether we’re having a craft night, swapping book recommendations, or participating in her annual talent show, Kyra always reminds me to lean into the little joys that make life feel full. She’s an incredible cook, and we love trying to recreate her famous dumplings at home (although ours are never quite as good). We're excited to have Kyra's contagious joy around on our big day.
Groomsman
Cameron is the person that always gives me perspective, whether it's about work, life or vitamins. I admire his tenacity and his willingness to always try something new. Cameron is always genuinely excited to hear what I'm up to and we've shared countless conversations about where we've been and where we're heading in life. We also share the important responsibility of making sure nothing bad happens to "Zing". I'm always grateful to see his warm smile and full heart.
Bridesmaid
Emily was part of Terry's life long before I ever came into the picture (you should see their early church photos). We officially met for the first time at her own wedding, which still makes us laugh, and from that day on we became fast friends. Some of my favorite memories with her include country concerts, long beach days that end at Captain Archie’s, and our sacred tradition of watching questionable reality TV —especially the Bachelor. I’m so grateful for the joy, humor, and easy friendship she brings into our lives.
Groomsman
Graham and I share a passion of home-building and construction. Though we met at work, it didn't take long to realize that he's the kind of friend who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He's naturally generous, dependable, and always willing to show up when it matters. Whether we're sitting in his shed talking over a beer or having a 7:30AM phone call while driving to work, Graham is always there - ready to listen, offer perspective, or share a laugh.
Bridesmaid
Sarah came into my life the very same day Terry did (after she gave him the nudge to come talk to me) and she’s been part of our story ever since. Countless Thursday hangs, late nights at East Bower, and hilariously intense debates have turned her into one of my closest friends. She’s an easy presence and one of the best listeners I know, always offering calm and clarity when we need it most. Whether we’re swapping recipes or trading needlepoint tips, she brings a warmth to my life that I treasure deeply.
Groomsman
As my future brother-in law, Stephen and I share the responsibility of bringing a bit of mischief to the Spell family. We're always joking around, sharing laughs, and lovingly making fun of the girls whenever we get the chance. Stephen brings great male companionship, humor, and a whole lot of fun to every family gathering - especially when the karaoke machine comes out (ask me about his favorite song).
