FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is formal attire. Floor-length or tea-length dresses as well as a suit and tie are strongly encouraged. Please avoid wearing anything sage green or light blue as to not match with our wedding party. Part of the event will be on grass so please plan your footwear accordingly. No jeans or sneakers please!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm. To ensure all guests are given enough time to park and be seated, please arrive no later than 4:30pm.

Question

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Kindly, RSVP by August 11, 2026 to ensure we save a seat for you.

Question

If I do not RSVP, can I still come?

Answer

Even though we would love to have you celebrate with us, as we need to give a final head count to our venue, you will not be allowed to come if you are unable to RSVP by August 11, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to limited space, only the guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are there accommodations?

Answer

Yes! We will set up room blocks. More information can be found on the details card enclosed with your invitation and under the "travel" tab on the website. If you would like to stay elsewhere, please keep in mind travel time to the venue as traffic can quickly build up in Charleston!

Question

Since there will be drinking, what do we do about driving?

Answer

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. As such, we have arranged for a shuttle to take guests from the hotel to the venue and back. The shuttle times and information can be found under the "Travel" tab.

Question

I have a food allergy/ dietary restriction. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please note your allergy/ restriction on the designated section of your RSVP. Our caterer will do their absolute best to have accommodations for everyone!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your kids! But this is an adults-only event. If your children are not listed on the invitation, please secure a sitter, bring your dancing shoes, and enjoy a date night with us!
