Ean and Terry stumbled into a Lounge in San Francisco unknowingly to meet their future spouse. Ean was there celebrating his birthday and Terry was having a girls night. He spotted her in the corner with her friends. She then spotted him noticing her and bashfully smiled. From here, their stories diverge, with Ean insisting that Terry followed him around all night trying to grab his attention. We all know that likely isn't the case, so let's adopt Terry's version: In true originality, Ean approached Terry and asked, "Can I buy you a drink?" Terry said she wasn't drinking, to which Ean quickly rebutted, "Me neither. How about a soda?" Terry could tell right away that Ean was different from other guys who had approached her in the past. After talking for a while Terry learned he was a country boy from Montana and he learned that she was a pastor's daughter from Oakland. They laughed a bit, and eventually Ean asked her to dance. But the song wasn't right. That's when God stepped-in and the DJ cut into a salsa song. Little did Terry know that Ean had been forced to learn salsa while studying abroad in Costa Rica. It was now finally making sense why that was a required course! As they danced they both wondered why there was something familiar about one another even though they had just met that night. One thing was clear to both of them: this was going to be something special. After dating for 3 magical years, Ean popped the question near one of their favorite spots in Castro Valley. Terry said "yes" and here we are today. We hope that you will be able to celebrate with us as we exchange our vows and hit the dance floor once more.
