When is the RSVP deadline?

The deadline for RSVP's is June 1, 2026 so we can get a final count to the catering team.

When do I have to reserve my room by?
Answer
Your reservation must be made by June 1, 2026. The group code is GRPTDW. Your reservation and deposit (one night) must be received by June 1, 2026.

What are the rooms like?
Answer
Sunset Vistas is an all suites resort. All rooms are actually 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suites with a kitchen, living room and balcony. It’ll be home away from home for a few days and the hotel is right on the beach. With 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms, it will be easy and convenient to share a suite and share the cost of the suite. The room rate is $269 per night plus taxes and fees. Our rooms are all gulf view rooms (while they are still available) or partial gulf view rooms. Thankfully we were able to negotiate a new less expensive room rate from the original $459 rate.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Classy comfortable is what we are expecting. It will be July in Florida so lightweight, flowy fabrics for the ladies and lightweight pants/shorts and shirts are always a good choice for the men. No jeans; no sweatpants; no belly showing tops please. The ceremony will be on the beach so sandals, flat shoes and even flip flops are another good choice. Sunglasses welcome and encouraged! Plan to stay dressed to impress for the entire event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will start PROMPTLY at 6 pm. Please be seated by 545 pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Please contact me directly at 508-857-9474 regarding your food allergy and I will let the caterer know. The food will be served buffet style so we’ll work with the caterer to be sure you have great choices.

We will have a cash bar available at the venue for guests to purchase their preferred drinks.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

No. There are no other scheduled events at this time.

Two ways: 1. You can text Terry at 508-857-9474. Remember to send your name and your guests’ name(s) (if applicable). RSVP’s needed by JUNE 1, 2026. 2. You can also RSVP on this wedding website!

Are we able to extend our stay either before or after the room block dates?

Please contact the property directly to extend your stay. www.sunsetvistas.com or 888-965-5330. You can still use the group code for Saturday and Sunday, however, a separate reservation will be made for any additional nights either before or after the block dates. Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There will be limited parking available at the hotel. I believe guests staying at the hotel will get 1 parking spot PER ROOM (not per guest) with their reservation so make your reservation early. If you are not staying at the resort, please take a look at https://www.mytreasureisland.org/parking.php which will show you public parking lots in the area. You can expect to pay $4-$5 per hour for parking and you will need to download the ParkMobile app to pay by license plate. Payments are by debit or credit card only. Look for signs with blue and orange seagulls indicating public beach access points and parking areas. We encourage you to carpool or use a ridesharing service if you are not a guest of the resort.

Do we need to rent a car?
Answer
I don’t think you NEED to rent a car. The hotel is located beachfront on the strip in Treasure Island approximately 25/30 miles from both Tampa Airport and Sarasota/Bradenton airport so I would suggest taking an Uber or Lyft to and from the hotel and save yourself some money. There are lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc. that are in either walking distance or a short Uber or Lyft ride away. You’ll be right on the beach as well. You can certainly rent a car if you like however.

We have decided to keep this an adult ceremony and reception with the exception of a few children whose parents will be contacted directly. Thank you for understanding.
