Best Man
David was the first person I met when I changed high schools my junior year. The very first class I attended was Mr. Elder's third period class. Turns out Dave had just transferred there too. From that moment on we have been partners in crime, doing everything from hunting to being each others best men.
Maid of Honor
I met Morgan on my very first night at Missouri State, and we've been best friends ever since. She is my go-to for everything, my favorite person to adventure with, and she is the reason I met Terry!
Groomsman
When my family moved to Missouri from Northern California, I didn't have any friends here. Daniel (AKA Brown Sugar) was my first friend in Missouri and we hit it off almost right away. We started hanging out a lot and spent an entire summer just hanging at his pool. He has been my sidekick ever since. We have tried our best to burn this town, and many others down. Somehow they are all still standing, not for lack of trying though.
Maid of Honor
Even though we are polar opposites in pretty much every way, we have bonded over the years through our love of food, Starbucks, and awful reality tv shows. Brittany is the one who picked out my wedding dress, the constant third-wheel, and the one who I can always count on to dance with me in the car...or kitchen, or pretty much anywhere.
Groomsman
I met Rogers one fateful (some might say worst) day at the lake. The first time someone tried to introduce me to him he walked right past me like he had no interest in being friends. As I would come to learn, that couldn't be further from the truth. Jake is by far the most outgoing person I know and we very quickly became friends. Thanks to some debauchery and funny stories I quickly learned that he was a big fan of "ropes", "Bone-in wings", and "special sauce." To say the good times and funny stories have grown from there would be an understatement.
Bridesmaid
I met Brittany when I started my job in the bakery at Sam's Club in Springfield. She is bold, blunt, and impossibly stubborn (just like me), which is why we get along so well. She is the person I love to make fun of and gossip with. Make sure to ask her about her cows.
Groomsman
When I transferred to Missouri State I decided to rush a fraternity. When we had our first pledge meeting, it was the first time we were all together and got to see our pledge brothers. In the back corner of the room was this kid that was all hair and never talked. After a few weeks, we finally broke that silence and got the guy talking. Sahm quickly became one of my closest brothers in the fraternity. We have shared many a great time together from fraternity events, such as formal and tailgates, to attending hockey games and he even was the photographer when I proposed to Ashley.
Bridesmaid
I met Hailey through my job at Sam's Club. The day she showed up, I knew we would click. She has the best energy, loves to sing Disney songs, and can make even the worst day fun. Even though she moved to North Carolina, we still talk all the time and it's like nothing has changed.
Groomsman
Duckworth was one of the first alumni members of the fraternity that I met. The irony is I was older than he was when I pledged, because of this we hung out quite a bit. Dustin is responsible for the excellent career that I currently have, getting me a job alongside him at 3M. We sit directly next to each other and get to spend everyday working together and discussing various topics from life, work, the stock market, and everything in between. In August I will be fortunate to get to stand by his side as he has his wedding, even though he is technically married (Thanks COVID).
Bridesmaid
Even though we share the same name, Ashley and I are pretty different. I am loud, and she is soft spoken. I am extremely hyper, and she is calm. I am quick to pull the trigger on things, and she is level-headed. We’re both major homebodies, and we bonded over our love of dogs, the fact that we have the same job at Sam's Club (except she is WAY better at it), and our love for margaritas. She balances me out in all of the best ways.
Usher
That is Doctor of Physical Therapy Ludwig HAHA...Ludwig was one of the other Alumini that I met early on when I joined the fraternity. Since I was older, we hit it off right away. He had just started PT school and was sticking around Springfield. We quickly became friends and have had a lot of great adventures together. He gave me a place to crash in STL when I was chasing, I mean courting, Ashley. We went on spring break together, where we had to share a bed, you're welcome Andrew, and we have taken many trips around the block together.
Flower Girl
Lilly is the sweetest four-year-old you will ever meet. She gives the warmest hugs, does the best makeup, and loves popsicles and gum more than anything. Lilly loves to dance, sing, and watch Frozen.
