Do you have recommendations for hotel accommodations?

Answer

Yes, we have arranged a discounted block of rooms at a hotel just less than a mile from the venue. For more details, please see the "Travel & Lodging" tab on this website.

When does the hotel block close?

Answer

The hotel block will close one month before the wedding, so the last day to book the hotel is January 28th!

Are all of the events being held at one location?

Answer

Yes, the entire wedding and all of the events will be held in the East House at The Palace at Somerset Park. (333 Davidson Rd, Somerset, NJ)

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress your best! Whether that might be anything from business casual, semi-formal, cocktail, formal, to black tie, whatever floats your boat. We only ask that you reserve shades of white for the bride.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at 5PM. Please plan to arrive by 5:15PM so you have ample time to settle in and get seated before the ceremony starts at 5:30PM.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, a complimentary shuttle will be running on a loop between the hotel and the wedding venue. The hotel and the venue are only 0.8 miles or 3 minutes away from each other.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free onsite parking at the wedding venue for the entire event. Complimentary valet parking is also provided for your convenience.

What's on the menu?

Answer

There will be tons of food, so get ready to eat! The cocktail hour will have 7 themed stations and 15 passed hors d'oeuvres. Dinner includes an appetizer, a tableside choice from three entrees plus one additional vegetarian option available upon request, and an elaborate venetian display of various desserts including wedding cake.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, the open bar will start during the cocktail hour and continue for the rest of the night at dinner and the reception.

Yes, there is a complimentary coat room with an attendant where you can store your belongings during the event.
