What is the attire?

In celebration of nature, we are going for "farm festive." Jeans are too casual, a tux is too formal, and everything in between goes!

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

We will be in the grass and on uneven, unpaved pathways. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes!

What is the attire for the rehearsal?

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

There is no hotel block. However, if you are family or in the wedding party, let us know and we will arrange a room for you to rent.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We are asking guests not to bring their kids to the ceremony/reception. However family and kids are more than welcome to stay in the cabins to enjoy the weekend with you!

Do I have to stay at the Glen Eden villas?

Answer

We chose Glen Eden because it is convenient for guests on the day of the wedding, and will allow us to spend quality time with our friends and family all weekend, instead of just a few hours during the reception. However, we don't expect everyone to stay there. If you will be more comfortable in a hotel, check out the Steamboat Grand and the Sheraton in Steamboat Springs.

What food will be provided during the reception?

The food will be buffet-style barbecue from a local barbecue joint. There will be alternative options for those with food sensitivities.

When is the rehearsal?

Answer

The rehearsal is on August 16th at 3 PM at the Glen Eden Lower Glen by the creek. It should take about 45 minutes. Wear whatever you want!

Where do we park?

Answer

Head to the Glen Eden and park by the clubhouse on the main property. Then follow signs to the wedding. When you are facing the clubhouse, look to your right, and follow a pathway down a wooden staircase to the Lowe Glen. You will walk by cabins on your right before going down the staircase. You will see the ceremony site on your left and the reception on the right!
