The Harwood Museum of Art is the second oldest art museum in New Mexico and its collections include a wide range of works from the many facets of Taos' history. Terrie has had the honor of exhibiting her quilts here on several occasions!
The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge is impressive on its own, combine it with grand vista views of the Sangre De Christo Mountains and it's a sight not to be missed! There is a flat, easy trail called the 'West Rim Trail' that meanders along the edge of the gorge. Great sunset and sunrise views and if you're lucky you may run into some big horn sheep!
Just a 45 minute drive from Taos, Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs is a favorite spot that offers hiking trails where ancient pottery shards can be found. After a nice hike, have a bite at Ojo's farm fresh restaurant and go for a dip in the healing waters!
