We met at church. Fred was looking a little lost and Terri stepped in to help him out. Come to find out he knew where he was going and just wanted her to escort him to service! We saw each other after the service and talked some more then agreed to get coffee later in the week.

I (Terri) was very surprised when Fred interrupted (with permission!) one of my meetings at church and asked if he could share something with everyone. My first thought was, you're too early to pick me up for lunch, then I realized he had something very special in mind, so I returned to my seat fixing my gaze on him! The rest of the room and those joining online weren't sure what to think but followed along nicely. Fred shared how we met and how much I meant to him. He then got down on his knee with the most amazing ring and asked if I would marry him! I rose from my seat on the front row and said, "YES!" The room, filled with my family of co-workers, were stunned and overjoyed! Meeting over, all of us celebrated with cookies, punch, hugs, squeals, and laughter!
