Two special occasions led to us becoming one. The first occasion happened to be at Bastrop, TX movie theatre, doing the one thing that we both love to do today. Shooting a game of pool! Brandon asked to play a game, and I remember telling my friends, how giddy he made me feel that evening. The second occasion, may be funny, and could also make my dad & younger sister curse under their breathe. July 4th, 2013, I had gotten a call from Dezirae asking me where I was and that she had gotten into an accident in our dads truck. Some guy had hit the back of the truck off Chestnut Street on the main bridge downtown. As I got there and realized that it was him. I remember looking at him and saying, "It just had to be you," and two nights later, I got message on Facebook for a dinner date. 6 rocky, challenging, heart-felt, heart-breaking, many mistakes, and wonderful years later, We are parents of TWO and ready to say I DO.
