When do I need to RSVP?

We are asking for everyone to RSVP on this site by March 31, 2024 (see RSVP tab).

What dates should we travel?
Answer
Your travel dates are completely up to you! We want this to be a vacation for you as well that works around your schedule. Wedding festivities will begin on Friday, November 8th and go through Monday, November 11th. We will arrive on Thursday and leave on Tuesday. Please come whenever you can and leave when you have to!

How do I book my room?
Answer
All booking will need to be done through https://www.destinationweddings.com. You can go directly to the site and follow these steps: - Select "Login" in the upper right corner - On the "Account Sign-In" page, follow steps to create an account: - Terreri (Wedding couple's last name) - 111024 (Wedding Passcode) - You will register as a new user - Once done, fill out pertinent information and instructions on the site - Select the room you would like to book and follow additional payment steps There are several room and suite options available at the resort. Please check out https://www.hyattinclusivecollection.com/en/resorts-hotels/secrets/mexico/akumal-riviera-maya/accommodations/club-level/ for descriptions of each room type. **Please note, the maximum number of guests per room is 2.

When do I need to book my room by?
Answer
When booking through Destination Weddings (through the link provided), you will see information regarding deadlines for payment based on whether or not you purchase "Travel Protection." A description of this is found on the the booking site. Whether or not you purchase this option, there is a $100 deposit to reserve your room. Full payment is dependent on "Travel Protection." 100% (full) payment is required for guests with NO Travel Protection by 6/28/2024. A minimum payment of 50% (half) of the reservation total is required for guests with Travel Protection by 6/28/2024 with the remaining balance payment required by 8/27/2024.

What transportation do I need to plan?
Answer
Your transportation from the airport to the hotel and back is included in the price of the room block and will be arranged for you. All wedding events are located at the hotel and all food and beverage is included, so you won't need to leave the resort unless you would like to! If you don't plan on leaving the resort, no additional transportation is needed.

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes, to travel to Mexico you will need a valid passport. If your passport expires within 6 months of traveling, you may have issues traveling, so plan to have it renewed.

What should I wear?
Answer
There is no dress code for the welcome party, casual/resort wear will work fine. For the ceremony and wedding reception, the dress code is beach chic. Think flowy dresses and jumpsuits for the girls, shorts/slacks and collared shirts for the guys (no jacket or tie necessary). We would love for everyone to dress in bright colors! The ceremony and reception will not be on sand, so any shoes will be fine.
