Terrence, Everyone here knows how much I hate to lose, especially you. So, it’s funny to think about how our love story started with me losing a bet. We went to go see the movie “12 Strong” and when we got into the theater you said to me “I bet you that at the end of the movie if all 12 guys are still alive then I get to kiss you”. I took the bet and as the movie played I started to hope I would lose… which never happens! But I should have known from the beginning I’d lose because the movie is called “12 Strong”... so I think you knew what you were doing there. And as we know when the movie ended you got to kiss me and that was honestly the best bet I have ever lost. Since then you have become my happy place, my comfort, my best friend, and my everything. I could not imagine my life without you in it. There are so many things I love about you, I could go on forever. I love how you make every moment feel like the best moment of our lives. I love how whenever you tell me a joke and I laugh you say, “Yup, still got it.” I love how when you walk into a room the room instantly brightens. People seem happier, they are funnier, they are slower to judge others and quicker to have a good time. I love how much you care, how kind you are, and how hardworking you are. I love the sound of your laugh. I love how you love my family as your own. I love how you are always up for a sweet treat. I love how much joy you bring into my life. And I love how your presence makes me feel safe and calm like I am at home whenever I’m with you. So, as I stand here in front of the absolutely right person for me I promise to celebrate all the good times with you and be the one to pick you up during the tough times. I promise to always support you. I promise to continue to grow with you as individuals and as a couple. I promise to always laugh with you. And I promise to love you, adore you, and cherish you for the rest of my days. I love you, Terrence Vincent Becvar!

Megan, We've shared a lot of memories together from walks on the beach in Laguna, to you crying at the idea of getting a dog...me crying because we had to keep it. Learning how to support each other during bad days, and celebrating each other during the good days. For myself, it all started at the mall and although it was 5 years ago, I have a vivid memory of that day thinking to myself how present I was, how happy I was, and how you were laughing at every joke of mine. We were suppose to go as a group that night at the mall but I'm glad that our friends canceled on us. From that point, I fell in love with someone who's ambitious, intentional, and always thinking of others. A girl who has been willing to be vulnerable, open and honest with me. And a girl who's laugh lights up my room. I appreciate how hard you work, how you make me want to be a better person, how you push us to be a stronger couple, and although life isn't perfect, I've never seen you quit...not on me, your family, or even yourself. For those reasons, I know I have a partner worth keeping. A relationship requires both parties to invest in it. So with that, I had 5 things I wanted to promise you. They all started with an "L" so I'll call it the 5 L's. I promise to always Learn with you - to try new things and share new memories together. I promise to always Listen - to understand rather than assume. I promise to always Lead you - to take the first step into the unknown. I promise to always Love you - with grace and appreciating who you truly are. And most importantly, I promise to always Laugh with you. To take me back on my memories at the mall and throughout our entire relationship, I can't think of a better way to spend my life than in that state with you. Present, Happy and Laughing!
