How we met: Taylor and Zach met in San Jose del Cabo in June of 2022. He was there for his friend’s wedding, while she was on a family vacation. The week was enjoyable for both of them. Towards the end of Taylor’s trip, while relaxing by the pool and heading toward the beach, she noticed a super cute guy in a Colorado Rockies jersey—the perfect icebreaker. She asked if he was from Denver, and he replied, “I’m not from there, but I live there.” They talked for a short while, and he casually handed her his phone to exchange numbers. After that, they enjoyed their respective weeks: he celebrated with friends, and she spent the remainder of her trip with her family. Once they were both back in Denver, they decided to meet at a Red Rocks concert to see if their spark was more than just a vacation crush. A proper date soon followed, and the rest is history—two souls connected and never looked back. They are excited to return to Cabo, where it all started, to celebrate their love. How he proposed: Zach proposed in Aspen, Colorado, during a family vacation. They had been looking forward to this trip for months. Everyone arrived early in the week, filled with excitement to be together. The only item on their agenda was a family dinner at a local restaurant that Friday with a close family friend of Zach’s mom. Little did Taylor know, this was a ruse designed to get them all dressed up for the big moment. On that Friday, they dressed up and headed to Rio Grande Park just outside of downtown Aspen for family photos before dinner, which was not out of the ordinary. As they walked across a beautiful bridge across the Roaring Fork River, Zach took Taylor’s hands, and in that moment, it hit her—this was really happening! With his family gathered around, he spoke the sweetest words and asked the question she had been praying for. Time stood still as they cried, laughed, and hugged—she got to say yes to the love of her life. As her heartbeat settled from the Proposal, Zach and his mom pointed across the river, where her entire family was jumping and cheering for them. She was absolutely shocked, living a complete dream. After all the hugs, she learned that there was no dinner with a family friend after all; instead, both families went to their favorite Mexican restaurant in Aspen and continued celebrating well into the night.
