Lisa is the twin on the right of this picture. She’s the loud, crazy twin with the BIGGEST heart. It’s funny because when I was born they didn’t like me. They tortured me to the point of telling me I was found in the trash dump lol. Lisa was jealous because I was taking her place. My parents had them spoiled and spent a lot of time with them. Now today they LOVE me unconditionally. She’s more than my first cousin—my big sister! She’s the best and I love her so much🤍
Delsha Wideman
Matron of Honor
Delsha is the twin on the left of this picture. She’s the “mama”, boss and person in charge of the family! Delsha is going to ask a million questions before giving you an answer lol. She can’t help it she gets it from my Aunt Wallette. Delsha is the sweetest, very humble and a hard worker. She also tortured me as a child maybe not quite as much as Lisa! I love my big sister so much.
Aaliyah Bush

Whew! I can write a book about my mini me!!! This is my beautiful niece Aaliyah. We are a lot alike in many ways until it’s scary. I marked her when she was in her mom’s womb. I harassed Angie all the time because I wanted my niece to look like me. Well! God granted me my wish. My mama sometimes get our baby pictures confused because we favor so much. I’m beyond proud of this girl and all her accomplishments. Tee Tee is so excited to have my first baby stand by my side as my maid of honor. I love you sooooo much mini.

Tori’s a whole vibe—in a league of her own!!! I’ve known her since I was a little girl. My aunt is her bonus mom’s cousin. She’s always been sweet + genuine to me. Tori was very welcoming as well as very shocked when she found out Cortez and I were dating lol! When he proposed, I instantly felt Tori would be perfect as one of my bridesmaids. Her energy, heart, beautiful smile + personality is truly unmatched. Thank you for making sure I felt apart of the family from day one🫶🏽
Shedall Stevens

I first met Shedall when I was in high school as a waitress at Pizza Hut. She was always very nice, laid back, easy going + a genuine person! Just a breath of fresh air to be around. Shedall’s also one of Cortez’s favorite first cousins. I knew instantly when we began talking about marriage that I definitely would want her to share this special moment with us. As some say, “I’m a little extra” but when I gave her the bridesmaids’ proposal box, her reaction was EVERYTHING! Cortez and I both love us some Shedall🤍
Eric Caldwell
Best Man
Cortez and Eric have been friends for over 10 years. They spent a lot of time sharing ideas together about their careers. Eric was a driving force for Cortez of becoming a licensed barber. He and his companion {Priscilla} always welcomed him in their home, fed him and made him apart of their family. Thank you Eric for sharing our special day with us!

This is my one + only sibling!!! My big brother is the ABSOLUTE best. He’s quiet, laid back, very observant, handsome + very protective of his little big sister!!! We’re ALWAYS 10 toes down for each other. Growing up I was pretty much the boss + somewhat I still am lol. I always dreamed of my brother and my companion getting along, having “men” conversations, etc. My dream + pray were answered. I’m honored to have my brother apart of my special day. I love him soooo very much🫶🏽

Growing up Lamont was like the big brother Cortez never had. He would let him tag along with him and his friends. Lamont was one of the reasons Cortez wanted to play baseball. Folks always said, “Head was good in baseball” {Head was Lamont’s nickname} and Cortez wanted to follow in his footsteps. Cortez was Lamont’s little shadow for sure. Lamont THANK YOU for being a great big brother to Cortez! You’re also gaining a little sister now🤍

Tracy is one of Cortez’s older cousins. He said growing up he always wanted to dress like Tracy. Tracy would give him some of his clothes to wear. Then Cortez shared a funny moment with me of how Tracy ran into the stop sign while riding his bike. He said it made he scared to ride his because he didn’t want to make the same mistake. Deon is Cortez’s cousin—actually more like a brother. They grew up playing sports together from baseball to basketball throughout the local leagues, middle school + high school. Growing up together they spent a lot of time together. Cortez said they made some great memories together. My little tidbit about Deon from high school. He was fire on the basketball court. And he was always smiling, just a cool guy + genuinely nice. Thank you Deon for being apart of our special day!!!

My little cousin-nephew is one of the coolest teenagers I know! He’s so smart, handsome + loves to play basketball. Ethan stole my heart from the day he was born. I can’t wait to see where his future takes him. Tee Tee’s so honored to have you apart of our special day. I love you E🤍

Whew! My nephew-son is the ABSOLUTE best young man you could ever meet. He’s so humble, smart, funny, marches to the beat of his own drum, handsome, my personal grill master + his Tee Tee’s biggest fan!!! Jaden has had me wrapped around his fingers since the day he was born. Everybody knows that’s my boy lol. I didn’t birth him but he’s MINE!
