FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as able! Our final RSVP deadline is January 17, 2027.

Question

Is there a dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

The Welcome Event dress code will be all-white/cream-colored attire. Please avoid wearing other colors for our Welcome Celebration!

Question

Is there a dress code for the Wedding Day?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place by the beach, so we recommend "beachy formal" attire! Think your brightest and most fun formal wear. We do kindly ask that female guests avoid wearing white or ivory, however any other color is perfect! Our color scheme includes variations of pink, orange, yellow, and green, but please feel free to wear what you feel your best in. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking on grass and sand, and for dancing the night away!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early to find the beach, find your seat, and to soak in the ocean views before we say "I do!"

Question

May I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We do kindly ask that our ceremony be "unplugged" with all phones and cameras turned off and put away during our short ceremony, as we want you to be present with us in the moment. We will have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like, and we would love for you to share them with us!

Question

Will there be an open bar at the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have our "signature drinks" served at cocktail hour, and then there will be an open bar for all 5 hours of the dinner and reception!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone however our venue has limited space. Please check your formal invitation to see if a guest is included! If you have any questions, please let us know!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We truly adore your little ones, however as our ceremony and reception spaces might not be most suitable for children, we kindly ask this be an adults-only (21+) celebration to ensure all our guests can fully relax and enjoy the day. We so appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you! If you are in need of a sitter, please let us know so we can provide suggestions.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do encourage the use of rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft for convenient arrival and departure. We have found these to be inexpensive and reliable for local use around the San Juan area. Please note that parking is limited at the wedding venue. If you do prefer to drive, the parking options at Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort are as follows: On-Site Parking: Daily: $25.00; Valet: Daily: $30.00

Question

Will there be an after-party? What is the dress code for the after-party?

Answer

Yes! You all traveled so far for us - let's keep the celebration going! Join us for a casual after-party at Destilado cocktail bar located within the Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Resort lobby. There will be a cash bar available. As far as what to wear, please feel free to change into something more comfortable! The after-party is casual, but you are welcome to stay in your wedding attire.
