We met online before online dating was the cool thing to do. Our first date was at a small restaurant in downtown San Jose where Jacob tried to convince Terra that spam (the disgusting canned food) was actually good, and she wasn't buying it. Needless to say, we were instantly drawn to one another and laughed the entire night... even when Jacob's car ended up being locked in a parking garage that night. After a couple of dates, it was clear that it was time to delete the dating app. Two years later, we moved to Seattle to purchase our first home, which we sold at the beginning of 2022. Now we are RVing full time throughout the country, looking for our next place to call home.

The day started like any other... We ran a couple of errands and had one of our first business meetings with a company that wanted to sponsor the monthly craft market we organized. After a successful meeting, we went home and started brainstorming what would happen next. Later that day, we were hanging out on the couch when Jacob came out of nowhere, dropped down to one knee, and proposed!
