Question

What about this Coronavirus pandemic?!?!

Answer

We want everyone’s health and safety to be the 1st priority during this time. We have decided to postpone our wedding until 6/19/21. We appreciate all of you and hope you’re all healthy and safe. Sending lots of love from our house to yours.

Question

What if it’s raining or, heaven forbid, snowing?

Answer

It's Montana, please layer accordingly. In case of inclimate weather, there will be umbrellas available, heaters and part of the reception venue is indoors. No matter the forecast, we will be there!

Question

How do we get to the top of the mountain for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

You will be required to check in prior to riding the ski lift. The lift is an 8 person, enclosed, heated, 6 minute scenic chair lift ride to the ceremony. Ushers will be available to help escort those who need assistance. The meeting location will be provided at a later time, please check back for more details.

Question

How do we get to and from?

Answer

Rent a car or talk to hotels about shuttles if you do not plan on staying at Big Sky Resort. Please note there is no cell service on your way to Big Sky, through the canyon or along the river. We recommend planning your route in advance.

Question

Where to stay and why?

Answer

Big Sky Resort will have all amenities needed in the same location as the wedding. We have stayed here often and love all the activities available. We also love Bucks T-4, a family friendly lodge with a great restaurant. Also has a shuttle available.

Question

What to do about elevation change?

Answer

There is a change, most don’t feel to many effects but be sure to drink lots of water.

Question

What are the Lipskis's favorites when visiting Big Sky?

Answer

Shrimp crostini and the bison meatballs at Ousel & Spur in the Meadow Hiking (there are so many for all levels, of all lengths) Lake activities at base of resort.
