We're getting Married!

We first met at the age of 17 at our first job at Dairy Queen. We were definitely known to be a little bit flirty, at least that is what all our co-workers thought. Fast-forward to the summer of 2019, Macklin left Dairy Queen for his sophomore year at Missouri University of Science & Technology. We began talking in August of 2019 when Macklin last minute invited Terra to come to a party in Rolla. There was no way Terra was going to go alone, so luckily she had an adventurous friend, Gabby who was happy to come along. After that, Gabby and Terra went back to Rolla again for another party in September. The rest is history, Macklin and Terra began continuously visiting each other and having so much fun together. November 27th, 2019, we officially began dating! Throughout the years we have been on so many fun dates, we traveled, we went to concerts, and we spent time with some amazing friends and family. Macklin graduated with his bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering in the spring of 2022, and we packed everything up and moved to Phoenix, Arizona where our next chapter began.

Travelling the world together has always been a big passion that Macklin and Terra share. Macklin planned and organized a 9 day camping trip to Wyoming to explore Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. Day 7 of our camping trip rolled around, we planned to wake up early, break down camp to move to another campsite, and go catch a sunrise over a beautiful barn in Grand Teton. After we watched the beautiful, glowing sunrise hit the barn and the Tetons Range behind it we went on a walk to go take some more pictures of the breathtaking views. Macklin was setting up to take a "picture" of us together when all of a sudden, Terra turned towards him to see Macklin down on one knee with a diamond ring. Terra instantly started crying and she said YES, the two of them were ENGAGED! After the proposal, Macklin surprised Terra that they actually were not setting up a new camp, but instead staying at the beautiful Jackson Lake Lodge with an amazing view of the Grand Tetons for the rest of the trip. To celebrate the rest of the day we then went on a rafting tour on Snake River, and had dinner reservations at The Mural Room. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
