We met on a Tuesday night at church on vbs night. Vacation bible school is a way for the kids to connect and play games while learning about Jesus. That night was just the beginning of how Jesus was bringing us together. The church put together a big water balloon fight. It started off throwing water balloons boys vs girls. Then it became a free for all. I popped a balloon on Emma's head that night (Cameron's sister) Cameron then took it upon himself to get revenge. He saw a perfect opportunity to come up behind me and popped a balloon on my head. I thought at that moment wow what a weird kid. The flirting just started there. After that night I kept trying to find his snap chat or any kind of social media. Finally, after 10 months we got each other on Snapchat . Within those 10 months we went to winter jam and fine arts. We just steadily came closer. After getting each other on snap it was like we always knew each other. Then it was time for church camp. If you would ask anyone that went to church camp that year they would tell you how much we flirted but kept denying it. The water war was the best part. Every night after service we would just go back and forth throwing water on each other. After that we would flirt back and forth on who won the water war (which was me of course.) After that our relationship started moving faster and faster. From being on facetime all night without anyone knowing to Lexi (Terra's sister) finding out we were talking. To everyone knowing. He finally asked me to be his girlfriend. It was over the phone but who cared we were kids in love. Two years later we came back together after taking a long break. Yes it was hard but God had a plan and we needed some growth. When God brought us back together we just knew we were meant to be. From our first date it just felt like before, we felt like we were together the whole time. Fast forward three and a half years later we are sitting here planning our wedding. God has thrown some obstacles in our way but we would not be who we are without them. God had a plan and I'm so glad you're in it. Every time I think of you, I give thanks to God. Philippians 1:3
